Commuter transport aircraft - Commuter Yusouki

A general term for small civilian aircraft used for relatively short-distance air transport. Various aircraft are used, ranging from light aircraft with 10 or fewer seats to aircraft with around 60 seats, but most are twin-engine propeller planes. 比較的近距離の航空輸送に用いられる小型の民間航空機の総称。客席10以下の軽飛行機から60席程度のものまで各種の機体が用いられているが，多くは双発のプロペラ機。1960年代に米国で始まった，小型機による簡易な定期航空輸送事業をコミューターと呼んだのが最初。→コミューター航空
