Cup - Cup

Japanese:
Cup - Cup

A small constellation that can be seen in the southern sky on spring evenings. It lies long on the back of Hydra and borders Corvus to the west. This cup is a pedestal goblet with handles on both sides, called a krater, a vessel for mixing wine and water. If you carefully trace the small stars, you will see that it is a dark but well-formed constellation. In Greek mythology, it was thought to have belonged to Apollo, Achilles, Bacchus, Hercules, and others.
