Protolepidodendrales is a group of fossil ferns (order) that were found in the Devonian period about 370 million years ago and are related to early club moss ferns. It includes Drepanophycus , Baragwanathia , Asteroxylon , Protolepidodendron (illustration), and Colpodexylon .
