Abbreviation: IFRB. One of the permanent bodies of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). As an international administrative committee, it is responsible for the international management of frequencies. The committee is made up of five members, elected by the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference. It was abolished by the ITU Constitution that came into effect in July 1994.
