Five senses
〘Noun〙 The five senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch that perceive things in the outside world through the five senses of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin. ※Tosei Shosei Kishitetsu (1885-86)〈Tsubouchi Shoyo〉19 "This is to dull those whose five senses are too sharp and to restrain fictitious imaginations."
