The name of a school of Noh performers who play the small drums. It is also called the Kogoro-Jiro school. The founder of the school, Koshiro-Jiro, was a disciple of Miyamasu Yazaemon (died 1556), who was known as a master. The 16th head of the school was Ko Shoko (1892-1977), who is said to be a modern master. His original name was Goro. In 1955, he was recognized as a holder of an Important Intangible Cultural Property. The current 17th head of the school is Shoko's eldest son, Ko Masakage (24- ).
