A town in Anpachi County in the southwest of Gifu Prefecture, bordering the north of Ogaki City. It is on the right bank of the Ibi River, and the main settlement flourished as a market town and a key transportation hub connecting the Nobi Plain and the Ibi Mountains. It produces a lot of high-quality rice and vegetables, and is also home to a rayon factory. The Yoro Railway runs through the town. 18.78 km2 . Population: 20,065 (2010). 岐阜県南西部，大垣市の北に接する安八(あんぱち)郡の町。揖斐(いび)川右岸にあり，主集落は濃尾平野と揖斐山地を結ぶ交通要地，市場町として栄えた。良質の米，野菜を多産し，レーヨン工場も立地。養老鉄道が通じる。18.78km2。２万65人（2010）。
