A town in Anpachi County in the southwest of Gifu Prefecture, bordering the north of Ogaki City. It is on the right bank of the Ibi River, and the main settlement flourished as a market town and a key transportation hub connecting the Nobi Plain and the Ibi Mountains. It produces a lot of high-quality rice and vegetables, and is also home to a rayon factory. The Yoro Railway runs through the town. 18.78 km2 . Population: 20,065 (2010).
