Enshoji Temple

Japanese: 円勝寺 - えんしょうじ
Enshoji Temple
A Tendai sect temple located near Okazaki in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City. Built in 1128 at the request of Taikenmon-in Fujiwara Shoshi. One of the Rokushoji temples. Burned down in 1219 but rebuilt. Abolished during the Onin War.
