Ame no Minakanushi no Kami

The name of a god in Japanese mythology. Along with Takamimusubi-no-Kami and Kamimusubi-no-Kami, he is one of the three gods of creation. He was the first god to appear in Takamagahara, and established the foundation of Japanese kingship. In the Middle Ages, he was revered in Ise Shinto and developed into a god at the center of the universe.
