A legal code enacted in 1812 by Emperor Gia-long, founder of the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnam. It consists of 22 volumes and 398 articles. Its contents are almost entirely a direct copy of the Chinese Da Qing Law Code, and it is believed that there was a large gap between this code and the actual Vietnamese norms.
