Tendon injury

Tendon injury
When an external force causes damage such as rupture to a tendon. Tendons are bundles of tough fibers that transmit the contractile force of muscles to the skeletal system, and damage to them impairs movement. If they are completely ruptured, the muscle force can no longer be exerted, and only the movement that involves that muscle becomes impossible. This, in turn, is useful for diagnosing which tendon is ruptured. Tendons are often ruptured by direct external force (cutting with a blade, plunging into glass, etc.), but they can also rupture indirectly due to a force that causes a breakdown in the stability of the joint, that is, due to a sudden, sudden muscle contraction (such as a ruptured Achilles tendon).
