Offering a cash prize or other reward to anyone who finds a missing person or lost property. Also, soliciting novels, designs, quiz answers, etc. for which a cash prize or other reward is offered. The Civil Code stipulates that a person who advertises a prize is obligated to award the prize (reward) to anyone who performs a specified act (Article 529 and following of the Civil Code).
