A collection of kyoka from the early Edo period. Ten volumes, four books. Edited by Seihakuan Kofu. With preface and postscript. Completed in 1652 (Shoo 1), published in 1666 (Kanbun 6) by Yasuda Jubei in Kyoto. Over 1,050 poems by 241 authors from the Kokinshu and Kokinshu volumes are categorized and edited into spring, summer, autumn, winter, congratulatory messages for gods, separation and travel, love, miscellaneous upper-level circular writings about things, and miscellaneous lower-level sadness and pain. At the end, a list of authors is included. This is the first full-scale anthology in the history of kyoka, and includes works from 34 books from the Kokinshu and Kokinshu volumes. The upper level includes works from princes and nobles to ordinary people, and the collection is extremely broad in terms of time and class. Although it was made using the same woodblock (with some partial reprints), it was reprinted up until the end of the Edo period with different titles (at one point it was renamed "Kokin Kyokashu") and different numbers of volumes.
