A type of Western people (Xirong) from ancient China. They were also called Ji Rong, Dog Yi, and Kun Yi. In oracles unearthed at the Yin Ruins, they are written as Dog Hou and Dog Fang. There is also a theory that they are the same species as the Ghost Fang and Wei Li from the Yin and Zhou dynasties. They are said to have lived near the Zhou people, and were defeated by King Wen and King Mu. They began to be active again when the power of the Zhou royal family declined, and King You at the end of the Western Zhou dynasty was destroyed by the army of Shen Hou and the Dog Rong. During the Eastern Zhou period, the Dogrong advanced between the Jing and Wei rivers and threatened the Zhou Dynasty, but after being conquered by the Qin Dynasty, they gradually declined and are thought to have disappeared around the middle of the 8th century BC, at the beginning of the Spring and Autumn period.
