In Greek mythology, it is the guard dog at the entrance to the underworld. It is said to have three heads, a snake's tail, and many snake heads on its body. Heracles captured it with his bare hands and brought it to the earth as the last of his 12 labors, but later returned it to the underworld.
The fourth moon of Pluto. It is named after the name of the planet. It was discovered by the Hubble Space Telescope in 2011. Its diameter is 13 to 34 kilometers.
A technology for authenticating users on computer networks using symmetric key cryptography. Users obtain authentication by accessing a key distribution server that manages encryption keys.

冥王星の第4衛星。名はに由来。2011年にハッブル宇宙望遠鏡で発見された。直径は13～34キロ。
コンピューターネットワークにおいて、共通鍵暗号を用いてユーザー認証する技術の一。ユーザーは暗号鍵を管理する鍵配布サーバーにアクセスして認証を得る。
