Military education system

The core of the military education system (military education system) is the education system for regular officers. The system and content of education reflect a country's defense policy and social conditions, and have an impact not only on the military but on society at large. As training institutions for regular officer personnel, many countries have established military academies for the army, navy, and air force, various technical schools for each job type for the army, navy, and air force as training institutions for military tactics and technical skills for junior and mid-level officers, universities for the army, navy, and air force to teach senior officers advanced strategy and tactics, and a national defense university that integrates the three services as a training institution for national defense policy.

軍隊における教育制度(軍事教育制度)の中核をなすものは正規将校の教育制度である。その制度と教育内容は一国の国防政策と世相を反映しており，単に軍隊内にとどまらず広く社会に影響を与えている。正規将校要員の養成機関としては，陸海空軍に各士官学校を，初級･中級将校の用兵および術科教育機関として陸海空軍の各職種別に各種の術科学校を，上級将校に高度の戦略･戦術を習得させるため陸海空軍に各大学校を置き，さらに国防政策の研修機関として三軍統合の国防大学校などを設置している国が多い。
