Born: May 2, 1886 in Tsuruoka [Died] June 6, 1970. Christian evangelist. Born into a samurai family with a stipend of 500 koku in the Shonai domain. After graduating from the First Higher School, he entered the Faculty of Law at Tokyo Imperial University in 1907. In 1909, as a member of the Kashiwa Society, he attended Kanzo Uchimura's Bible study group and became friends with Takeshi Fujii. Upon graduating from university in 1911, he joined Sumitomo Sohonten and was transferred to Osaka, Tokyo, Besshi, and other locations until 1921, when he retired as assistant manager of Sumitomo Steel Works. In February 1921, he moved to Tokyo to help Uchimura with his evangelism, and later began his own evangelism. From 1922, he studied in Germany for three years. In 1926, he started publishing the monthly magazine "Eternal Life" (it ceased publication with issue 423 in December 1966) and began evangelism by literature. In 1931, he moved to Osaka and presided over the Kurosaki Bible Study Group. His writings are collected in "Collected Works of Kokichi Kurosaki" (volume 7, 72-73).
