Kurokawa [Hot Springs] - Kurokawa
This hot spring is a national health resort located in Minamioguni-machi, Aso-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture, on the western foot of Mount Kuju. It is a sulfur spring containing salt. Temperatures range from 47 to 96 degrees Celsius. It was originally a secluded hot spring suitable for medical treatment, but it developed after the Kyushu Cross-Island Highway was opened. There is a bus service from Bungotakeda-cho on the Toyohashi Main Line.
