A manor in Mikata County, Wakasa Province. It was centered on Kurami, Wakasa Town, Fukui Prefecture, and included a part of Nishiura, Tsunekami Peninsula in the north (Mikawaura, etc.). The time of its establishment and the circumstances are unknown, but in 1235, it was in the territory of Shin Hiyoshi Shrine in Kyoto, and it is said that it had been serving as an oil farmer for several decades. According to the 1265 Wakasa Province Ota Bunsha, the area of rice fields was over 14 cho. Shin Hiyoshi Shrine held the position of lord, and the position of land steward became the territory of the regent at the end of the Kamakura period. In 1411, the three myo (Kuroda, Ono, and Kaya) in the manor became the territory of Rokuo-in in Kyoto, and in 1413, Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimochi donated Kurami Manor to Toji-in in Kyoto, except for the two names of Taromaru and Goromaru, and Wakiyamana of Anzenji Temple. Both Rokuo-in and Toji-in temples had deep ties to the Ashikaga Shogunate, and it is believed that Kuramisu Manor, which had once become an imperial estate, was subdivided and donated to them. Mikawaura (Mikaoura) (later known as Mikoura) was a semi-independent territory within the manor. Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
