〘Noun〙① One of the eight ministries of the Daijokan under the Ritsuryo system. It oversaw the Imperial household's supplies, general affairs, civil engineering, food selection and medical care for officials in the capital, and woodworking, civil engineering, and blacksmithing for government offices in the capital. Under the Ritsuryo system, it oversaw the Daizenshoku, Carpentry , Ooi , Tonomo , and Tenyakuburyo as well as the Ookimi , Naizen , Miki, Uneme , and Moitorishiro . It was made up of one lord, one each of Daishoyu, one Daijo, two Shojo, one Dairoku, two Shoroku, two Shusho, two Shukamochi, and 160 members of the meal section. Miyanouchi-no-tsukasa [Imperial Household Ministry]

〘Noun〙① One of the eight ministries of the Daijokan under the Ritsuryo system. An office in charge of the food and medical care of the Imperial family, the food and medical care of government officials in the capital, and the woodworking, construction work, and blacksmithing of government offices in the capital . 〘名〙① 令制の太政官八省の一つ。皇室の用度、庶務、および土木工匠や、在京官人の食撰・医療、在京官衙の木工・土木・鍛冶などを管轄する。令制では大膳職、木工(もく)・大炊(おおい)・主殿(とのも)・典薬(てんやく)寮のほか、正親(おおきみ)・内膳(ないぜん)・造酒(みき)・采女(うねめ)・主水(もいとり)司を管す。卿一人、大少輔各一人、大丞一人、少丞二人、大録一人、少録二人、主醤二人、主菓餠二人、膳部一六〇人などから構成される。みやのうちのつかさ。※令義解(718)職員「宮内省〈管職一。寮四。司十三〉卿一人〈掌出納。諸国調。雑物。舂米。官田及奏宣御食産。諸方口味事〉」② 明治二年(一八六九)設置された官庁。皇室関係の一切の事務を取扱う。明治一八年、他の行政官庁から切離され独立的性質を得た。昭和二一年(一九四六)縮小され、二二年宮内府、二四年宮内庁となる。※開化問答(1874‐75)〈小川為治〉初「御自分さまは宮内(クナイシャウ)といふ御役所の御賄ひにて一年纔(わづか)六十萬両位の御くらしでござる」

みやのうち‐の‐つかさ【宮内省】
