Japanese: 久々野[町] - くぐの

A former town in Ono County in the central north of Gifu Prefecture. Occupying the mountainous area upstream of the Hida River, lumber processing is thriving. Vegetables and fruit are also produced. The Takayama Main Line runs through the town, and the Funayama Kogen Ski Resort is located here. In February 2005, the town was incorporated into Takayama City along with the villages of Nyukawa, Kiyomi, Shokawa, Miya, Asahi, and Takane in Ono County, and the towns of Kokufu and Kamitakara in Yoshiki County. Area 106.10 ^km2 . Population 4,144 (2003).
