Banking capital - Ginkoushihon (English spelling) banking capital

Banking capital - Ginkoushihon (English spelling) banking capital
It is a traditional term that collectively refers to the funds handled by banks. In terms of sources, it can be divided into equity capital, banknotes (in the case of issuing banks), deposits, etc., and in terms of investment, it can be divided into loans, securities investments, deposits in other banks, cash, etc. In terms of the amount at a given point in time, it is the same as the bank's total assets (or total liabilities + capital). As a concept in economic theory, it is often used to mean capital invested in the banking industry (a bank's equity capital), corresponding to the terminology of industrial capital and commercial capital. In this case, it can be said that the funds that form the basis of the credit exchange of various capitals involved in reproduction, and a part of the expenses associated with the credit exchange, are independent as capital.
