Anaheim - Anaheim (English spelling)

An industrial city in southern California, United States. Population 328,014 (2000). Located in the fertile agricultural region of the Santa Ana Valley, it is famous for citrus cultivation. In recent years, it has also been attracting attention as an industrial city centered on aircraft and electronics. As the location of Disneyland, which opened in 1955, it is also one of the leading tourist destinations in the United States, and is also known as a meeting city with a concentration of conference halls and accommodation facilities. It is also the location of Angel Stadium of Anaheim (Anaheim Stadium), the home ground of the Major League Baseball team Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

アメリカ合衆国、カリフォルニア州南部の工業都市。人口32万8014（2000）。サンタ・アナ谷の肥沃(ひよく)な農業地帯にあり、柑橘(かんきつ)類の栽培が有名。近年は航空機、エレクトロニクスを中心とした工業都市としても注目を集めている。1955年オープンしたディズニーランドの所在地であるところから、合衆国有数の行楽地でもあり、また会議場や宿泊施設が集中した集会都市としても知られる。大リーグのロサンゼルス・エンゼルス・オブ・アナハイムのホームグラウンド「エンゼル・スタジアム・オブ・アナハイム」（アナハイム・スタジアム）の所在地。
