Peacock Hiba - Peacock Hiba

Japanese: クジャクヒバ - くじゃくひば
Peacock Hiba - Peacock Hiba

It is an evergreen coniferous shrub or small tree of the Cupressaceae family (classification based on molecular phylogeny: Cupressaceae) with a single-trunked tree shape. Square, columnar twigs grow densely on both sides of the long branches, the smallest branches have few branches, and small, scale-like leaves grow densely. A horticultural variety of cypress with golden leaf surfaces on the current year's branches is called golden cypress, and is often planted in gardens and parks and is also used in flower arrangements. It is propagated by cuttings.
