Li Kui (English spelling) Lǐ Kuí

Japanese: 李逵 - りき（英語表記）Lǐ Kuí

One of the 108 leaders in the Chinese novel Suikoden. His nickname was Black Whirlwind and he was also known as Li Tieniu. He was originally a prison official in Jiangzhou (Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province), but wanted to save Song Jiang, who had been exiled there, so he later joined Liangshan Marsh. In the end, he drank poisoned wine with Song Jiang and died. He was ignorant and violent, but had a pure heart like a child, making him one of the most fascinating characters in Suikoden. Many plays in the Yuan dynasty featured him as the lead, and he was something of an idol among the people. There was a character with the same name in the early Southern Song dynasty, but it is unclear whether he was the model for him.

中国の小説《水滸伝》の108人の頭目の一人。綽号（あだな）は黒旋風，また李鉄牛と称す。もと江州(江西省九江)の牢役人であったが，流刑に来た宋江をしたい，のち梁山泊に仲間入りした。最後は宋江とともに毒酒を飲んで死ぬ。無知凶暴であるが，子どものように純粋な心を持ち，《水滸伝》の中で最も魅力的な人物の一人である。元代の芝居には彼を主役としたものが多く，民衆の間で，いわばアイドル的存在であった。南宋初に同名の人物がいるが，モデル関係は不明である。
