In a village community, cultivation regulations are imposed on each business of its members. Not only are all members required to use and manage the land owned by the community within a certain period of time, with certain obligations, but regulations also extend to the private sphere of members. This maintains the production and life of the entire village community. Sanctions are imposed on those who leave the community, and community regulations are transformed into community coercion.

村落共同体においては，その成員の各経営に対して耕作規制がかかってくる。共同体が所有する土地の利用，管理が一定の時期内に一定の義務を伴うものとしてすべての成員によってなされるばかりでなく，成員の私的領域にまで規制が及ぶ。これにより村落共同体全体の生産ならびに生活が維持されていく。離脱行為者に対しては制裁 sanctionがなされ，共同体規制は共同体強制に転化する。
