Negotiation clause - kyogijoukou

…A clause in a labor agreement that stipulates that an employer must consult with a labor union before taking certain measures based on its own rights and authority regarding certain matters. It is also called a consultation clause. The most common are personnel consultation clauses related to the hiring, transfer, and dismissal of employees, and there have long been many consultation clauses related to measures associated with management policies, corporate divisions and mergers, business downsizing, factory closures, etc.
