Intensification rite

This refers to religious rituals such as agricultural, hunting, and fishing ceremonies, or rituals performed when building a ship, which are performed to pray for a good harvest, an increase in catch, or for the ship to perform to its full potential. They are characterized by being directly linked to each livelihood. The totem multiplication rituals of Australian Aboriginal people, which are thought to be a specialized form of totemism, also belong to this category.
