Cowboy and Weaver Girl

...It is said that when the meeting took place, the Weaver Maiden would cross the bridge built by magpies to cross the border between Heaven and Han. This story has been a subject of poetry by literati since the Six Dynasties period, and has undergone many changes over the years, with new elements being added, and it is still told today as the story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Maiden in folk tales throughout China.
