Japanese: 拾芥記 - しゅうがいき

The diary of Sugawara (Gojo) Tamemaku, a nobleman and Confucian scholar in the late Muromachi period. 2 volumes. Also known as Tamemakukyo-ki, Gojo Tamemaku-ki, and Tameki. Covers the period from 1484 (Bunmei 16) to 1521 (Taiei 1), but up until 1490 (Entoku 2) it mainly covers his own academic history and the internal affairs of the Sugawara clan. From that point onwards it takes on the form of a daily diary, and although the descriptions are simple, they show the trends in the Imperial Court and Shogunate at the time, as well as the social situation in Kyoto. 室町時代末期の公家，儒学者菅原(五条)為学の日記。2巻。異称は《為学卿記》《五条為学記》《為記》。1484年(文明16)から1521年(大永1)にわたるが，1490年(延徳2)までは自身の学歴，菅原氏の内部事情などを主としたものである。それ以後は日次記の体裁をとり，簡単な記述ではあるが，当時の朝廷と幕府の動向，京都の社会情勢などを示している。《改定史籍集覧》所収。【小泉宜右】
