Japanese: 及台子 - きゅうだいす
Oitaiko - Kyudaisu
〘Noun〙 A type of shelf used in the tea ceremony. It is smaller than a daisu, with only two pillars instead of the four. The one favored by Rikyu was also used for a furo (furo) , while the one favored by Sotan was used for a ro. [Sado Sentei (1816)]
