In addition to these, many documents related to the main temple, such as the Goei-do documents and the Kangaku-in documents, as well as documents from the sub-temples, such as Kongo-Zanmai-in, Hoju-in, Shochi-in, and Seinan-in, have been handed down within Mount Koya. A small portion of these documents are included in the Mount Koya documents compiled by Nakata Hoju, as Kongo-bu-ji documents (Kangaku-in documents), Kongo-bu-in documents, documents from the former scholars' faction (documents from the five temples Jakusei-in, Takamuro-in, Jimyo-in, Shojoshin-in, and Seinan-in, etc.), and documents from the former monks' faction (documents from Kosan-ji, An'yo-in, Rengejo-in, and Saimon-in, etc.), and were published by the Mount Koya documents publishing association, but this was discontinued due to the outbreak of the Pacific War. For this reason, it is difficult to grasp the full picture of the Mount Koya documents at this point, and we can only hope that the Kongo-bu-ji authorities will organize and make the documents public as soon as possible.

…　高野山内には，このほかに御影堂文書，勧学院文書などの本寺関係文書，あるいは金剛三昧院，宝寿院，正智院，西南院などの子院文書が多数伝来している。これらのごく一部が中田法寿編《高野山文書》に，金剛峯寺文書(勧学院文書)，金剛三昧院文書，旧学侶方一派文書(五坊寂静院，高室院，持明院，清浄心院，西南院文書など)，旧行人方一派文書(興山寺，安養院，蓮華定院，西門院文書など)として収められ，高野山文書刊行会から公刊されたが，太平洋戦争の勃発によって中絶した。このため，現時点では《高野山文書》の全貌はつかみがたく，金剛峯寺当局によって古文書の整理･公開が一日も早く実現されることを期待するほかはない。…
