Kinunuma

This high moor is located in the northwest of Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. It is located on a flat surface between Mt. Kinunuma and Mt. Monomi, with a circumference of 1.3 km and an area of ​​0.12 square km. Over 40 ponds of various sizes are scattered throughout this high moor. It is located at an altitude of over 2000 meters, higher than Ozegahara. Plants that can be seen in the marsh include Japanese holly, cotton grass, sundew, and aenturama. Take a bus from Kinugawa Onsen Station on the Tobu Railway to Meotobuchi Onsen, and from there it is about a four-hour walk.

栃木県日光市(にっこうし)の北西部にある高層湿原。鬼怒沼山と物見山の間の平坦(へいたん)面上にあり、周囲1.3キロメートル、面積0.12平方キロメートル。この高層湿原には大小40余りの池塘(ちとう)が点在する。標高2000メートルより高所にあって尾瀬ヶ原(おぜがはら)より高い。湿原にはホロムイソウ、ワタスゲ、モウセンゴケ、チングルマなどがみられる。東武鉄道鬼怒川温泉駅からバスで女夫淵温泉(めおとぶちおんせん)まで行き、ここから徒歩で約4時間。
