A general term for five types of trees that grow in the Kiso region of Nagano Prefecture and that were prohibited from being cut down by the Owari domain in the mid-modern period as prohibited trees: Hinoki (Chamaecyparis obtusifolia), Sawara (Cucumber ), Uyamaki (Japanese cedar), and Asunaro (Asunaro), and later Kurobe (Nezuko).
