Air-hardening fireproof mortar

...Since it uses the same refractory powder as commonly used firebricks, there are many types, and they are used depending on the purpose and application. There are thermosetting firebrick mortars (compounds of plastic clay, the general type that hardens when heated), air-hardening firebrick mortars (compounds of sodium silicate and other binders, hardening at room temperature), and hydraulic firebrick mortars (compounds of hydraulic cement such as alumina cement). All of them are required to have the appropriate viscosity, elongation, and adhesiveness for laying firebricks, as well as the necessary sintering and durability when used.
