Many of them are more graceful in both appearance and color than freshwater fish. The species that are easy to obtain in Japan are found in areas ranging from Okinawa to the Philippines, and include the damselfish species, such as the cobalt damselfish, the Pacific blue damselfish, the three-spotted damselfish, the clownfish, the hermit anemonefish, and the clownfish; the butterflyfish species, such as the butterflyfish, the threadfin butterflyfish, the one-fin butterflyfish, the ghost butterflyfish, and the hawkfish; the wrasses, such as the crested wrasse and the black wrasse; and others, such as the red lionfish, the triggerfish, and the horned idol. Of the above, the damselfish species are small and easy to keep.
