The May 30th Uprising in Jiandao

Japanese: 間島五･三〇蜂起 - かんとうごさんじゅうほうき

Caught between Japanese aggression and the Chinese authorities, Korean communists living in Jiandao organized an anti-Japanese uprising on May 30, 1930. At the time, they had just joined the Chinese Communist Party after dissolving the Manchuria General Bureau of the Korean Communist Party in accordance with Comintern's One Country, One Party policy. In order to demonstrate their internationalism, they faithfully carried out the instructions of the Manchuria Provincial Committee under Li Lisan's line, setting fire to and destroying consulates, Japanese government offices, electric lighting companies, stations, railway bridges, etc., mainly along the Tianjin-Tumen Line (Tianjin-Tumen) in Longjing and Toudaogou, sparking mass uprisings in rural areas that continued for over a year.

日本の侵略主義と中国官憲の板ばさみにあった間島在住の朝鮮人共産主義者が1930年5月30日を期して組織した抗日蜂起。当時コミンテルンの一国一党方針に従って朝鮮共産党満州総局を解体し中国共産党に加入したばかりだった彼らは，国際主義を証すべく李立三路線下の満州省委員会の指示を忠実に実行に移し，竜井，頭道溝など天図線(天津‐図們)沿線を中心に領事館，日本の官公庁，電灯会社，駅，線路橋梁等を放火破壊し，以後1年余にわたり農村部での大衆的蜂起を現出させた。
