A domain that ruled the area around Omigawa in Shimousa Province (Omigawa, Katori City, Chiba Prefecture). Fudai. It was established in 1594 (Bunroku 3) when Matsudaira (Fukozu) Ietada was given 10,000 koku from Jodai in the same province. In 1602 (Keicho 7), Doi Toshikatsu entered with 10,000 koku, and in 1610 he moved to Sakura (more than 30,000 koku). After 1612, it was ruled by Ando Shigenobu, Ishikawa Tadafusa, and Miura Masatsugu, and in 1639 (Kan'ei 16), it became the domain of Uchida Masanobu (10,000 koku). Masanobu was the lord of Kanuma Domain in Shimotsuke, and his great-great-grandson Masachika moved the domain headquarters to Omigawa and established the domain once again. During the reign of the ninth lord, Masanobu, the domain was abolished and prefectures were established. After passing through Omigawa Prefecture, Niihari Prefecture, and Ibaraki Prefecture, the domain was incorporated into Chiba Prefecture.
