Signboard rental contract - Kanban kashi keiyaku

...A contract in which one person (the name lessor) allows another person (the name lessee) to do business using his/her name or trade name. It is also called a name loan or signboard loan contract. Originally, name loan originated from a commercial practice in which a member of an exchange (where only members can trade) rented a business name to a non-member, allowing the name lessee to enjoy the same benefits as a member.
