Kandou Water Sea - Kandou Water Sea

...It is an alluvial plain formed by the Hii River and the Kandō River, and developed due to the changes in the course of the Hii River. Lake Jinzai in the southwest is the Kandō no Mizuumi in the Izumo no Kuni Fudoki, and there was a large amount of marshland nearby. The Hii River once flowed westward passing north of the slight elevation of Oyama in Izumo City, and alluvialized the northern part of the Kandō no Mizuumi to form the land around Taisha Town.
