This hot spring is located in Yamanouchi Town, Shimotakai District, northeastern Nagano Prefecture. It is one of the Yudanaka/Shibu (Yamanouchi) hot spring areas located on the banks of the Yokoyu River, and Shibu Onsen is next to it to the east. It is a weakly saline spring, 50-90°C.
