Born on July 25, 1930. In 1936, he was adopted by the 24th head of the Kanze family, Kanze Sakon. In 1949, he succeeded the 25th head of the family after the sudden death of his adoptive father, and studied under Kanze Kasetsu. After the war, he resolved the dispute between the Kanze and Umewaka families that had existed since the Meiji period. He worked to unify the school and popularize Noh, and built the Kanze Noh Theater in 1972. In 1988, he took on the family name of Sakon. He passed away on August 26, 1990. He was 60 years old.
