From the perspective of financial institutions, consumer finance can be divided into two types: the partnership type (indirect consumer finance) in which financial institutions provide credit to consumers through affiliated manufacturers and dealers, and the non-affiliated type (direct consumer finance) in which financial institutions provide credit directly to consumers. In the former, a comprehensive guarantee contract is made between financial institutions and affiliated companies such as manufacturers and dealers, and funds are provided to purchase products sold by the affiliated companies.
