Also known as dryland agriculture or arid agriculture. This is field agriculture carried out in areas with little rainfall, without drawing water. It is characterized by preventing rainwater runoff, suppressing soil moisture evaporation, and storing as much water as possible in the soil so that the crops can use it effectively.
