Ganzhou Hui-Hu - Kanshu Kaikōtsu

In 840, the nomadic Uighur state collapsed due to civil war and attacks by the Kyrgyz people, and many Uighurs left the Mongolian plateau. The part that entered the northern border of the Tang Dynasty was descended from the Onguts of the Yuan Dynasty, and the Ganzhou Huihui was established in Gansu (960-1028). Another group moved to the Karluk region in the western Tianshan area, and had a major influence on the establishment of the Kara-Khanid dynasty later on.
