…漁業を営む御厨住人は舟運にも従事し，1048年(永承3)の関白頼通高野山参詣のときには，大江御厨夫が淀川を下る乗船の水夫の役をつとめた。御厨領は川筋にそってひろがり，山本(八尾市)，水走･河俣(東大阪市)あたりから，摂津の河口にまで及んでいた。　御厨領の要所には執当（しつとう）と呼ばれる現地荘官が置かれ，12世紀の初め，在地領主藤原氏(水走（みずはや）氏)が，大江御厨山本･河俣執当職に任じられたが，水走氏の祖と仰がれる藤原季忠は，1144年(天養1)ごろ，御厨内の河内郡有福名水走の地を開発して，これを本領とした。…
