An ancient port in Matogata-cho, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture. One of the Gohaku. The "Karatomariyama" mountain in Inami County, Harima Province, which appears in the "Horyu-ji Garan Engi Naroru Kishizaichou" (Horyu-ji Temple Garan Engi Naroru Kishizaichou), can be compared to the Nishitomariyama and Higashitomariyama mountains behind Kaigakuji Temple, which is said to have been founded by Gyoki, so it is believed that Kanpaku was located nearby. According to Miyoshi Kiyoyuki's "Twelve Articles of Opinion Envelopes," the nobles (Imperial Court) renovated this port along with Owada port, but it gradually fell into decline due to accumulation, and its status was handed over to Fukudomari, located to the west.
