[Established by] Kansai University, an educational corporation [Founders] (Kansai Law School) Tokuichi Arita, Misao Inoue, Sadatoshi Oshima, Hisashi Ogura, Tadatake Kojima, Kan Shikata, Chujiro Shibukawa, Moriyoshi Tsurumi, Taro Tezuka, Michio Doi, Shokichi Nomura, Masatada Horita, Kazushi Yoshida [Background and history] Kansai Law School opened in November 1886 (Meiji 19). In July 1901 (Meiji 34), it was renamed Kansai Private Law School. In January 1905 (Meiji 38), it was renamed Kansai University.
[Campus] Senriyama Campus (Suita City) / Takatsuki Campus (Takatsuki City) / Tenroku Campus (Kita-ku, Osaka City)
[Marks] The school emblem is the character for "university" surrounded by reed leaves. In April 2009, the communication mark "Global 'KU'" and the tagline "THINK × ACT" were introduced. In November of the same year, a trademark application was filed (Trademark Application 2009-83585).
