The five seasonal festivals (five seasonal festivals) of the 7th day of the New Year (Jinjitsu), the 3rd day of March (Jōshi), the 5th day of May (Tango), the 7th day of July (Tanabata), and the 9th day of September (Choyōyō) were introduced from China and became popular among the general public during the Edo period, but even these today can be recognized as having some kind of divine festival meaning....
