〘Noun〙 (In ancient times, it was also called "Kamu-gatari". An abbreviation of " Kangatari-uta" ( Divine Word Song). A type of folk song from ancient times. A narrative song about Yachihoko -no-kami, handed down by the Amagatari-be (Heavenly Words Department) . It has the final line "Even the words of the matter are thus, " and is found in the first volume of the Kojiki. *Kojiki (712), Vol. 1 "These are called Kamu- gatari (Divine Words) ." [Additional Note] There is also a theory that reads it as "Kangot."
